KAM provides services for £3.3m fit-out of Go Outdoors warehouse
The team at KAM is currently providing project management and employer’s agent services for a £3.3m warehouse fit-out for Go Outdoors in Middlewich.
The UK’s biggest outdoor retail company – Go Outdoors, which is part of the JD Sports group, took on the lease of the existing 350,000 sq. ft warehouse from landlord Delin Capital and works started in late January 2019 on a fast-paced project to transform the space for use by the company.
The site, which will be run by XPO Logistics, will see the creation of a central outdoors logistics hub for Go Outdoors and JD Sports. KAM is working with Magrock Construction Limited, and subcontractors Apex racking, Hall and Kay sprinklers, WMBS and Linde battery charging to deliver the project.
To allow the occupier the earliest possible access to commence operations, the build will feature multiple handovers, with final completion due May 2019.
