PC at Spicers, Greenwich
January saw the completion of the Spicers, Greenwich building where KAM provided cost management and employer’s agent services for client Wrenbridge.
The 105,000 sq ft refurbishment project involved the demolition and removal of mezzanines, racking and office fit out to make way for a modernised warehouse with newly fitted out office space to current institutional standards. This included installing rooflights, providing a warranted roof coating, repairs to the floor slab, and improvements to the layout.
It was great to see the building’s EPC status increase from an E to an A thanks to the team’s careful planning, new HVAC system including air source heat pumps, and installation of PVs.
