‘Thank You’ from Kevin Sims

"After 47 years practicing as a QS and PM, I have made the decision to ‘slow down’. From the end of May, I will be stepping away from my role as an active director at KAM Project Consultants and will go on to undertake some consultancy work.

I would like to thank all the clients that have come to KAM in the nearly nine years since we started. In that short time, you have provided us the platform to grow the business from two to over 80 colleagues, operating across six offices in the UK and one in Germany.

A special mention to both Bericote Properties and Gazeley/GLP. It was Richard and Lee at Bericote who awarded us our very first projects back in 2013, closely followed by Patrick and Jonathan at GLP who similarly put their faith in our start-up business. Their combined support gave us the market position to grow the business at an exponential rate and for that I am grateful.

The second thank you is to all the KAM colleagues without whom the journey would not have been possible. Your belief and dedication to the business has been second to none. I hope you are enjoying the excitement as much as I have and I look forward to watching your continued success.

Finally, a big thank you to all the consultants I have had the pleasure of working with; for this one there are too many to mention but of whom I hope to see in my ‘slowed down’ future.
